Here is a very nice and mystifying pub trick a bit on the bizarre side. Warlock or Witch tells spectator the following, " When you think of a Witch, you think of a number of things, black pointy hats, brooms and this, a cauldron." Performer produces a small dark finely turned, wood cauldron and then two large, evenly weighted, ornate dice. One of the dice is covered on all six sides by stars and the other with full moons. " Do you know what we have here?" Asks the performer. "It is the makings of a spell but no spell is complete with out one of these." Performer produces an old parchment spell card. "A spell card with the proper symbol in the center to get the spell moving. Here, Ill demonstrate what I mean. I am going to turn my back and I want you to take up one of the dice and place it in the cauldron and put on the lid. Then, take up the other one and place it behind your back. Alright, go to it." The performer turns their back and the spectator proceeds with the task. Once done, the performer is able to divine which dice is in the cauldron simply by placing the cauldron in the center of the Pentagram on the spell card. This can be done as often as you like and requires no set up. All items are examinable before and after the trick. The spectator will never find the secret. This one will have them scratching their heads in utter amazement. Beswitched will Bewitch even the most skeptical. All can be examined by the spectators at any time. Nice piece for strolling performance work. Comes with an extra secret gimmick so the trick can be done without the spell card if preferred.
