Effect: A spectator cuts to a card at random and shuffles it back into the deck. Hopefully he remembers his card too. The performer attempts to cut to the selected card in the shuffled deck only to fail. He tries again and fails again. In desperation, he reaches into his pocket and produces the lost Card Predictions of Nostradamus.
Reading from the book, Nostradamus proclaims that the mysterey card is red. The spectator says "No." Fortunately, this is exactly what Nostradamus predicted the spectator would say. The audience is amused but not impressed. Further, Nostradamus predicts that the slected card is on the very next page. The page is turned to reveal a scattered mess of cards! Just as the audience is about to turn nasty, Nostradamus predicts that the spectators intuition will find the mystery card.
The performer randomly moves his finger around the mess of cards until the spectator calls out stop. The performer turns the book around and indeed his finger points directly to the selected card. Nostradamus, the performer and the spectator have all succeeded! But wait there's more. Nostradamus suggests the book be opened for a final sign. Suddenly, a card three times the size of the book leaps into view. This gigantic card is proof positive that Nostradamus knew the spectator's card all the time!
